Position Summary:

KCH Transportation is looking for a Sales Representative to contribute to our explosive growth. This role is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales to drive sales growth and expansion.

This individual will be a highly commission-motivated, self-starter with a strong sales dynamic, logistics experience, and identifying and developing new business prospects from multiple sources. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Scheduling appointments and meeting with existing and potential new customers to determine customer needs and offering methods to meet those needs.

· Effective planning and designing of professional demonstrations or presentations to conduct in-person sales meetings with existing or potential customers.

· Liaising between the company and the customers for up-to-date conditions on pricing and services.

· Continuously updating customers on company changes in services offered and providing quotes.

· Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the company in a positive manner.

· Enhancing up-to-date knowledge on new services, procedures, and tools by attending departmental meetings, conferences, and trade shows.

· Use of marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using relevant sales management tools.

· Preparing sales reports and maintaining expense accounts.

· Performing updates and maintenance of customer accounts including contact names and numbers for future sales opportunities.

· Manage customer expectations, contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction and operational excellence

· Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions

· Work closely with internal operations team to ensure growth of new and existing business.

· Support key customer relationships and direct participant in quarterly business reviews

· Continuously update and maintain notes and progress on prospects, customers, and sales funnel in CRM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
